Write the story in Chinese. Keep the Chinese.

Chinese stories do not have to be translated before they can be filmed. Paste Chinese text, review the cast and the shot plan, and the dialogue in your story is spoken as Chinese dialogue in the clips.

Chinese in, Chinese out

Your Chinese stays your Chinese: the script you review is in the language you wrote, and the lines your characters speak are the lines you wrote. When you pick a different language for the film on purpose, Zoromi tells you before anything paid runs.

English stories work the same way, and a project can be continued in the language it started in.

Names, places and props that belong to the story

Characters, locations and props each get their own reference design, drawn from what your story says about them rather than from a generic template, and those designs are reused across the clips.

Signal Behind the Sun, a Chinese science-fiction story, was planned as thirteen clips this way, from the observation deck to the corona.

Questions

Is the dialogue spoken in Chinese?

Yes. Dialogue written in Chinese is planned as Chinese spoken lines. If you choose a different film language on purpose, Zoromi says so before a paid step runs.

Do Chinese character names survive into the cast designs?

Yes. Each named character gets its own reference design built from what the story says about that person, and the design is reused across the clips.

Can I mix Chinese and English in one story?

Write the story in the language you want the film in. Mixed text is planned as written, so review the script before generating to see how the lines were read.

What does a Chinese drama cost?

Pictures, video clips and audio use Gems; costs depend on the selected settings and amount of content. Review the displayed price in the workspace before generating, and see the pricing page for Gems packs or optional monthly plans.
